Fisch Suction Tube

Also known as: Fisch suction/irrigation tube

ENT suction system pattern in which separate fine suction tubes of different diameters fit a common Fisch handle.

Reusable hand instrument

About the Fisch Suction Tube

The Fisch suction tube is part of a modular ENT suction system. Karl Storz lists a Fisch suction handle together with a series of separate Fisch suction tubes in different outer diameters, allowing different tube sizes to be used on one handle.

Catalogue listings also show combined Fisch suction/irrigation tubes, in which a suction tube and an irrigation tube run side by side, and versions with different working lengths.

Tube diameters and lengths vary across the range, and compatibility between handles and tubes from different makers should not be assumed.
