How verification works

What we check before publishing, what the status on a company profile means, and what it does not mean.

ListedCompiled from public sources. Not yet compared detail by detail with the company's official website.
Source verifiedThe company name, location, business role and published contact details were compared with the company's official website on the date shown on the profile.

These are the two statuses used on company profiles today. A status describes what we compared and when. It does not certify product quality, regulatory approval, certifications or commercial reliability, and it does not mean that we visited, audited or tested the company or its products. Paid placements and company claims never change a status.

Two further statuses, “Contact verified” and “Business verified”, are reserved for checks made directly with a company. They are not assigned to any profile at present, and we will describe how they are checked here before they are used.

Research process

  1. Find the company through official websites, government and association sources, trade exhibitions and reputable business directories.
  2. Open the official website and confirm the company name, location and business role.
  3. Record the source address and the date checked.
  4. Write a short, factual summary in our own words.
  5. Publish only what has been confirmed. Fields we cannot confirm stay empty.

Sections confirmed one by one

Some details need a separate check by an editor before they appear. Product categories, medical specialties and capability claims (such as OEM or private-label services, manufacturing capabilities, export markets and certifications) stay hidden on profiles, directory cards, category and specialty pages and in company counts until an editor has confirmed that section against a source and recorded the source address. Founding years and business types are shown only with a quote from a source. A confirmed section reflects what the source stated when it was checked; certifications are not audited by us.

Submissions, claims and removals

  • Submissions: every listing, image, correction or other request is stored privately and reviewed by an editor (submitted, in review, verification, then resolved or rejected). Nothing is published or changed automatically, and submitted details go through the same checks as our own research.
  • Claims: we check that the person represents the company, for example by contacting the company through the details published on its official website. An approved claim records who manages the profile. It does not change the profile’s status and is not an endorsement.
  • Removals: we confirm a removal request with the requester by email before a listing is removed. See the Listing Policy.

Medical AI and exhibitions

Medical AI company roles and regulatory information are shown as stated in the company’s own or other official sources, with links. Exhibition dates and venues are checked against the organizer’s official information, and the date of the check is shown on the event page where available.

We never guess email addresses, add unpublished phone numbers, or create logos, reviews or ratings. Always confirm important details directly with the company. Report a correction.
